Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Well hi, I'm Mia, and aren't I one of the cutest creatures you've ever seen? I'm a petite, gorgeous Russian Blue/ Manx/ DSH mix gal who was born in July 2017. I have a beautiful solid gray coat, large expressive eyes, and a little stub of a tail that curls round. Russian Blues have fans because of their intelligence and loyalty (not to mention their stunning good looks), and Manxes are beloved for their friendly, outgoing, dog-like personalities -- so I'm quite a Heinz 57 Variety! Can you believe I was living on the street until Busters Friends found me? I'm quite tiny but have a healthy appetite. Despite my being a little sprite, I ... (Read More)certainly have plenty of energy and gumption to romp and play with my other foster playmates. I'm also quite the glamorous poser, as you can see from these photos. I'd make a perfect new family addition this holiday season, so make arrangements to meet me today! I'm sure that I won't be available for very long before I find my lifetime home! Mia is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.     Hey there! It's me, Maxwell, and I'm a handsome black and white tuxedo sprite who was born in June 2017. I have a white blaze on my otherwise black face, and the rest of my body is white except for my black tail and a black saddle on my back. Compared to Michael and Malcolm, I'm the peewee of the trio, but what I lack in size, I make up in enthusiasm and playfulness. Cuddling with foster mom is not my thing -- at least for now. I'm too busy romping with my furry playmates. I was rescued along with Michael and Maxwell from the dreary and dangerous streets.     I'm Malcolm, and I'm a handsomely marked black and white tuxedo DSH dude with big round topaz eyes who was born in June 2017. I'm mostly black with a white blaze on my nose, a white bib, and white mittens. Although I was a little shy when I first came to my foster home, I'm a very friendly guy now. Cuddle dates with my foster mom are a must between all my romping with my cohort Michael. I was rescued along with Michael and Maxwell from a dreary street life.     Hi there! I'm Michael, and I'm a sweet-tempered, easy-going black and white tuxedo fella who was born in May 2017. I'm one of the most gentle lads my foster mom has ever had, and I always cherish my quiet cuddle-time with her. She trapped me on the street along with my pals Malcolm and Maxwell.     My name is Freya, and I'm a stunningly marked black and white tuxedo DSH gal who was born in April 2017. Animal ID: CLBaby Zeus (male)

Domestic Cat    Age: Young Kitten

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This precious little guy, named Zeus by his rescuer/foster mom, is a playful, easygoing, and loving brown tabby boy who was born in April 2017. He was found over Memorial Day weekend as a 4-week old starving baby who was walking away from his mom, who had just been hit by a car. As Zeus has grown and flourished, his darling personality and lovable quirks shine through. He absolutely knows his name (although he's so smart, he will learn any name his new owner might choose) and will come running like a dog! The only time he meows is when he wants something (so listen closely!). Most often, it means it's time for his wet food (he receives ... (Read More)free -choice kitten dry food and Fancy Feast Kitten canned food for breakfast and dinner) or he wants to be let into foster mom's bedroom, where he likes to recline and rest. Zeus still has his kitten playfulness (without being too hyperactive) and loves wand toys; his favorite is the Pet Zone Fly-By Spinner Interactive Butterfly cat toy. Anything where he can run, jump, and chase will wear him out so he will be a good little cuddlebug all night. Foster mom thinks he's most adorable upon first waking when he blinks sleepily like a child. It almost always takes him a minute to completely perk up (unless he hears a can being opened!), just like a little human. Zeus has been exposed to numerous other cats and has a very calm, even demeanor that has allowed him, with time, to ingratiate himself to even the most hissy ones. He would do great with another cat or even a calm dog. He hasn't been exposed to children, but would probably do great with older ones. Zeus has been loved and cherished since the night he was rescued. This angel loves to snuggle and be petted. He has a '4-paws-on-the-floor' policy which means he adores kisses and hugs but gets a little nervous when his feet aren't on a surface. So, he's at his most comfortable and loving when he feels a little in control. Because Baby Zeus will fit into so many family situations, please make arrangements to meet this funloving, friendly, and affectionate tabby boy. Don't dismiss him because of his tabby plainclothes -- he's really a prince in disguise. He's anxious to see what the next chapter in his life is all about! Baby Zeus is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat.     A big Texas howdy to you! My name is Butters, and I am a sweet, friendly, playful, as well as gentle buff-with-white tabby DSH fella who was born in October 2013. I'm a regular purr machine when you scratch my head and neck! I'm a happy, well-adjusted dude who gets along with other cats as well as humans of all ages. I haven't been around dogs, but I'm so laid back, I'm sure that I would be fine with a polite, cat-friendly canine. Thanks to my microchip that could be traced back to Buster's Friends, I am back with my foster mom and looking for my lifetime home this time. My foster mom was amazed at how easily I assimilated into my new home -- no shyness or hiding for me. No, I was eagerly exploring all around and even touching noses with the house cat. I was unphased as her 4 year-old-son used the sofa like a trampoline. Hey, I told you that I'm laid-back.     Hi there! We're Tempo and Mykonos, and we're a bonded pair of sweet, playful DSH fellas. We are both extremely outgoing and friendly and love people. In fact, we are both lap cats. We have a blast wrestling with each other and then settle down to cuddle. Our foster mom has decided that we must be adopted together because it would make us too sad to be separated. It would be fine if our new home also has kids or a polite, cat-friendly dog to play with us. Tempo says: I am a handsome black DSH/ Bombay mix gent who was born in May 2016. Like Bombay mixes, I have a long, lithe, agile physique despite my deceptively heavy, muscular body. I act shy at first but warm up very quickly. I was turned into the shelter with my mom and 5 other siblings when were really little. We were all sick and not feeling well. Luckily foster meowmy sprung us from the shelter and helped us get well again. Mykonos says: I guess my foster meowmy named me after the Greek island's playful summer atmosphere! I am a sweet, playful orange and white DSH fella who was born in July 2016. I am handsomely marked with white mittens, boots, bib, and tummy. I'm sure that you already know what wonderful personalities ginger tabbies are known for! I love to follow my foster meowmy around the house. I was living all alone on the streets, and it was a scary lonely place. I was meowing loudly outside at night because I was so scared. There were people getting angry about it and who were going to call animal control on me when a very nice lady brought me to my now-foster meowmy. When she brought me inside, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! I had food, a bed, toys, and lots of kitty friends to play with. Best of all, I never had to get rained on again. Hopefully my hardscrabble beginnings are far behind me! Now we are looking for our very own furrrever home so that we never end up homeless or in a shelter again. Pick us, and we will love you furrever! I guess we don't need to tell you that two is always more fun than one, and we can keep each other entertained while you are at work or on vacation. I'm the only male among all these little ladies in my litter, Cassandra, Emma, and Eliza. Where can a guy get a break?     Hello there, I'm Eliza, and I'm a stunning red-tabby-with-white DSH gal who was born in late May 2107. I'm about half tabby and half white because I've got a white face, bib, tummy, and 4 legs, and my green eyes will knock your lights out! I'm a little more reserved than my two sisters Emma and Cassandra, but I'm still eager to be in the thick of the action. Playing, eating and sleeping are my favorite passions as long as I'm doing them with my siblings or other foster feline playmates. My sweet foster mom saved my life: she rescued my nursing mom and our litter of 4 when we were just a week old from the city pound. Although I can be ... (Read More)adopted separately, it would be great if I could be adopted with either George, Emma, or Cassandra. Two is more fun than one, and we can keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation! Please arrange to meet me today so I can look deeply into your eyes with my emerald-green peepers. Eliza is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.     Hello, it's me, Cassandra, and I'm a gorgeous tabby redhead gal with a few touches of white on my nose, bib, paws, and tummy who was born in late May 2017. I guess you're familiar with what wonderful personalities red tabbies have, and even though I break the 'mostly male' statistics, I'm no exception as far as my friendly, outgoing personality goes. I am an affectionate lass who cherishes getting affection in return from my foster mom. I'm an active girl, and playing with my siblings Emma, Eliza, and George is always on my agenda. Plus I help my foster mom in the kitchen (especially when supper is running late). We all have healthy ... (Read More)appetites but are not fussy about what is on the menu as long as it's quick!     Hello, I'm Emma, and I'm a petite, affectionate, active buff-and-white tabby DSH gal who was born in late May 2017. I'm a real beauty because I've got an angelic face plus I'm about half tabby and half white since my face, 4 legs, chest, and tummy are white.     Hello there! My name is Sally Ann, and I am a sweet, affectionate silver-tabby-with-white DSH girl who was born in March 2014. I have the cutest white blaze on my nose plus a white bib, tummy, mittens, and high go-go boots. I love people and just soak up all of the attention that my foster meowmy can give me. When she's sitting in her chair, I'll jump up in her lap or next to her on the arm of the chair. I'm just hinting for a little petting and a head scratch! When she's in her bed, I'm right up there nestled next to her -- until another cat jumps up and gets in our way. I was adopted as a kitten from Buster's Friends. Unfortunately three ... (Read More)years later, I was left in a crate outside of the city pound. I'm not sure if I was left by someone who found me or my adopter 'dumped' me anonymously. My life was in jeopardy and I was terrified of my fate, but the shelter scanned for my microchip and contacted Buster's Friends, who had purchased my chip. Voil, my foster mom rushed over to pick me up and take me to safety. After the traumatizing experience at the shelter, upon first arrival to my foster home, I was a little leery of the other cats and big dog. But given a little love and time, I've gotten adjusted to the friendly menagerie of animals. And I was even shy at first with my foster meowmy, but once I got used to her and trusted her, I showed her how loving and affectionate I can be. Now I'm ready for my lifetime home --hopefully a little quieter and with less commotion than my foster home. I have so much love to give, and I'm always ready for a little reciprocal affection! Although I do well with other felines and cat-friendly dogs, I would just love it if I were the only kitty so I didn't have to share my human companions' attention! Bombay Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults

My name is Tempo! I am a handsome black DSH/ Bombay mix gent who was born in May 2016. My visual assets are a shiny and sleek black patent-leather coat (with a small white 'pendant' at my neck) and big round copper-penny eyes. Like Bombay mixes, I have a long, lithe, agile physique despite my deceptively heavy, muscular body. Bombay mixes are sometimes known as Velcro cats because we bond so well to our humans, and I'm no exception. I am extremely outgoing and friendly and just love people. In fact, I'm a lap cat! My foster mom has decided that we must be adopted together because it would make us too sad to be separated. It would be fine if our new home also has kids or a polite, cat-friendly dog to play with us. I was turned into the shelter with my mom and 5 other siblings when were really little. We were all sick and not feeling well. Luckily foster meowmy sprung us from the shelter and helped us get well again. Now I'm all grown up and ready for my lifetime home. Pick me and Mykonos, and we will love you furrever! I guess I don't need to tell you that two is always more fun than one, and we can keep each other entertained while you are at work or on vacation. Please don't be superstitious of black cats! You know, Groucho Marx once said, 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.' Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black or Bombay mix cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. To find out more about Bombay mixes, watch the attached 2-3 minute You Tube video that appeared on Animal Planet or Google 'Cats 101 Bombay.'     Hi there! My name is Mykonos, and I am a sweet, playful orange and white DSH fella who was born in July 2016. I am handsomely marked with white mittens, boots, bib, and tummy. I'm sure that you already know what wonderful personalities ginger tabbies are known for! I am extremely outgoing and friendly and just love people. In fact, I'm a lap cat! I love to follow my foster meowmy around the house. I guess my foster meowmy named me after the Greek island's playful summer atmosphere! I do love to play! I am bonded to my black Bombay mix buddy Tempo, and we have a blast wrestling and then settle down to cuddle. My foster mom has decided that ... (Read More)we must be adopted together because it would make us too sad to be separated. It would be fine if our new home also has kids or a polite, cat-friendly dog to play with us. Now I am looking for my very own furrrever home so that I never end up homeless again. Pick me and my bonded buddy Tempo, and we will love you furrever! I guess I don't need to tell you that two is always more fun than one, and we can keep each other entertained while you are at work or on vacation. Mykonos is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.     A big Texas howdy to you! My name is Barnaby, and I'm the sweetest, most affectionate brown tabby lap cat whom you'd ever want to meet. I showed up as a stray, but the vet thinks I was born about February 2016. I love sitting next to my foster mom (or in her lap!), getting head rubs, and even being held or carried around the house. She just loves it that nothing rattles me because I'm so relaxed and easy-going. Even getting baths, being in the cat carrier, and going to the vet fail to freak me out! Well, on second thought, I do run and hide behind the chair ONLY when the vacuum cleaner comes out and roars! You can just call me 'Mr. ... (Read More)Congeniality' because I'm so friendly with both adults and kids. I love to greet my foster family at the door when they come home. And I'm just as curious and outgoing when strangers and visitors come! Plus I get along fine with the 3 resident female cats. My foster home has no dogs, but I bet that I would get along great with a cat-friendly canine or two. And I'm a playful dude who loves chasing the laser toy, and I'm quite attached to my stuffed elephant toy. I have perfect litter box and scratching post manners. What's not to love about me? My foster mom is puzzled how such a perfectly wonderful kitty like me ended up to be a stray. Surely no one would abandon a fantastic fella like me. However, when I showed up at my foster home, I was skinny as a rail and obviously limping from an abscessed foot. My foster mom rushed me to the vet, who healed my wound and got me all 'fixed' up. The vet's the one who broke the news of the consequences of my being a stray: I'm FIV positive, which probably happened from an altercation with another intact male. No worries! It's not a death sentence at all, and I should live a long, healthy life. Bite wounds are the only way that FIV is spread, so chances are strong that a sweet, laid-back gent like me will be no danger to other spayed/ neutered cats in a future home. Of course, I'd be a fine addition to a home without other cats or with another FIV cat. Bottom line is that I may have FIV, but I have absolutely no emotional scars from my hardscrabble beginnings. I'm curious and trusting, and I just know that I would fit in just great into YOUR home. I'm anxious to meet you, so make plans for a meet-and-greet with me today! I will quickly prove to you that I am a 'schmoozer extraordinaire!' Barnaby is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, (will be) microchipped (upon adoption), FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.     Hello there! My name is Hansi, and I'm just the friendliest, cutest 35-pound blue merle Dachshund/ Bassett Hound mix gal who was born in November 2009. I'm a total sweetheart who loves hanging out with my people. I'm best with adults and older children; honestly, the young grandkids made me a bit nervous. I'm fine with dogs who are at least my size or larger, but I probably shouldn't be added to a home with a smaller dog because I may try to dominate the little tyke. Incidentally, I've never been around cats except from behind a fence. Nothing thrills me more than hunting for the birds and squirrels in the back yard -- and sometimes I catch ... (Read More)them! I could very likely be trained for hunting if you like that sort of thing. I guess you're wondering why I need to find a new home.     Hello there! My name is Sweet William, and I am a handsome, affectionate buff-tabby-and-white fella who was born about June 2015. I am such a LOVER BOY!!! I purr constantly, eat voraciously, and beg for petting!!! I particularly like my foster mom to run her fingernails up and down my backbone, under my neck, and behind my ears! I have never had my ears rubbed nor my tail scratched before going into foster care, so I am in ecstasy. I also like my foster mom to coo over me in her high-pitched 'kitty-only' voice. I'm a fun-loving dude who loves to play with balls, bottle corks, and chip-bag clips. In my more peaceful moments, I like sitting by ... (Read More)the window and 'talking' to the birds, lizards, and feral cat I see. I'm an affectionate boy who prefers to sleep on my foster mom instead of beside her. Believe it or not, I had rather hardscrabble beginnings before I came into her foster care. I had been living at a trailer park where I had gotten into several nighttime altercations with other un-neutered toms. A nice lady let me briefly come inside her trailer and fed me. She had a cute little intact female, and I had a blast fathering two litters of kittens. The second litter set this lady in a panic, so that's when Buster's Friends came in to neuter me, vaccinate me, and have me tested for FeLV/ FIV. Thank heavens I was negative! I am so sweet and social that I certainly didn't need to be released back into the trailer park. So my foster mom stepped up to bring me to live safely inside full-time and be the recipient of all of her TLC. It was a learning curve, at first, for me to adjust to living strictly indoors. I used to be petrified of the ceiling fan, vacuum cleaner, blow dryer, and outside noises. Plus I would run and hide under the bed when her little munchkin preschool grandchildren came to visit. However, my foster mom was patient with me, and after only a week, I let her grandsons pet me. In less than 3 weeks, I jumped on her bed to sleep with her even when the ceiling fan was whirling above! All I needed was some 'time and love' in order for my craving for people's affection to overcome my skittish fears of the unknown and the brand-new! Now that I have adjusted to my foster home almost completely, I will await finding my forever, lifetime home. I have so much love to give and am so laid-back and friendly that I am confident that I will fit into many families. Sweet William is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.     Hi my name is Paris! I am a gorgeously marked mostly white-with-black-eye-patches Catahoula/ Pointer/ Pit mix female who weighs 40 pounds and who was born about May 2015. I'm a very energetic 'teenager' who loves to go to the park and play with other medium-sized dogs. (I don't do well with small yappy dogs, however.) I especially love my rope toy! I especially love my rope toy! I'm living proof that even gals of rare breed mixes and with unique colorations can end up in big trouble! I was found foraging for food as a lone stray in a park and then was turned into a shelter. It was my lucky day when my future foster mom saw me and rescued ... I'd do great with older kids but, since I still jump a bit, I might knock over a small child by mistake. I live in a foster home with cats, but my foster mom says that I'm 'marginal' but not impossible with cats; I just need more training, and right now she wouldn't leave me alone with the cats.     Well hello there! I'm Ruby, a very loving, sweet, and well-behaved apricot-and-white tabby girl who was born in the fall of 2012. Call me Miss Congeniality because I just love people!! Also I like to snuggle up to my foster mom so she can be sure and hear that my loud purring sounds like a perking coffee pot. Plus I'm playful too. My laser mouse is my favorite toy. I'm unusual because most ginger tabbies are male, but I'm a little girl who's all 'sugar and spice and everything nice.' My palette is almost the color of a cameo -- soft apricot with my white bib, mittens, and high go-go boots. I will dazzle your eyes -- like you would expect ... (Read More)from any ruby! In early 2017, I had my dental woes from gingio-stomatitis, but no worries -- I'll never have annual dental cleanings again because almost all of my teeth have been extracted! Although my foster mom sees to it that I get my share of canned food, believe it or not, my gums have healed enough that I can eat dry kibble again. One caveat about me is that I need to be the only cat in the house, but if a gentle dog (like the little one in my foster home) will not hassle me, I will be fine. I was surrendered to a kill-shelter because my human companion's new husband was allergic to me, but I am staying positive and just know that my next home will be for my lifetime. If you're looking for an affectionate, attentive companion, I'm PURRFECT. Please make plans to meet my sweet, loving self today! Ruby is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the purple contact button so we can arrange for you to meet this rare and delightful apricot tabby girl. (Less)
